Using HubScape in low-signal or offline areas

Learn what HubScape features are accessible when your device has poor signal

Updated over a month ago

HubScape’s offline mode helps you complete visits when signal is low or unavailable. Here’s what you can and cannot do offline:

What You Can Do

If you opened the app and loaded your day's schedule while connected, you can:

  • Open visits scheduled for that day

  • Start visits

  • Fill out completion forms

  • Add pictures and notes

  • Mark visits as complete

If there’s no signal, visit data will upload automatically in the background when connectivity returns.

What You Cannot Do

Anything not included above cannot be done offline, some of the key actions are:

  • Update your schedule i.e. move visits

  • Create or schedule new visits

  • Navigate to other days/other schedules

  • Edit visit or job data

  • Send reports

Handling Pending Visits

  • Pending visits (yellow status) upload automatically when signal is restored

  • Pull down on the schedule screen to manually trigger a data upload

  • Do not log out while visits are pending as this will clear them

Image Uploads

Images may take longer to upload due to file size but will complete once the visit data has been uploaded. You can check if your images are still pending upload by opening the completed visit when signal is restored:
