What is capacity view and how do I access this?

Learn how to easily spot gaps in your schedule or know when you're fully booked

Updated over 4 months ago

Our capacity view features helps you spot gaps in your schedule or see when you're fully booked. To understand your capacity, progress bars are used to represent how full your schedule is. The bar will show the hours (of visits plus travel time) in your schedule against your target hours.

Please note: capacity view can only be accessed on desktop.

On desktop

  1. From the schedule page, click on the dropdown where you would navigate between week and month and select Capacity:

  2. The first time you enter this page, you will be asked to enter your target number of working hours. This allows us to display how full your calendar is and if you have capacity for additional jobs.

  3. For each day, you can hover over a progress bar to see your start and end time for that schedule, the number of hours already booked and any gaps between jobs. The progress bar colours indicate:

    1. Green - the scheduled hours are within the target hours set (e.g. 9 hours)

      1. Different shades of green suggest varying degrees of fullness, with the brightest green representing that the number of hours scheduled is at, or close to, the target hours

    2. Red - the scheduled hours have exceeded the target, indicating overbooking

  4. To amend your target hours, simply click the β› icon under the Add to schedule button.
